High School Students Summit on "World Tsunami Awareness Day" 2022 was held in Niigata

　　Oct. 19 and 20, High School Students Summit on “World Tsunami Awareness Day” 2022 was held in Niigata, and aimed to foster the growth of new leaders who would play a central role in protecting citizens’ lives, livelihoods and assets from earthquakes, tsunamis and other disasters, while minimizing the impacts of disasters on daily life and the economy by contributing to the resilience of their societies. The event further deepened the kizuna, or “bonds,” between each country.
